Taurus Model 70 .32 Long Revolver

The Taurus Model 70 is a classic small-frame double/single-action revolver chambered in .32 Long (.32 S&W Long), manufactured by Forjas Taurus S.A. in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Part of Taurus's long heritage of Brazilian-made revolvers serving the domestic and export markets, the Model 70 represents the mid-20th century tradition of small-calibre utility revolvers combining mild recoil with practical capacity for recreational and target use. Available in 3-inch and 4-inch barrel configurations — both in blued (oxidised) finish — the Model 70 offers a choice between the compact 3-inch for easier handling and the 4-inch for improved sight radius and muzzle velocity. Both configurations share the same six-shot cylinder, steel frame construction, and classic DA/SA trigger action. The .32 Long chambering provides a mild, controllable shooting experience well suited to extended practice or casual recreational use.The Model 70 has been discontinued by Taurus, making surviving examples of interest to collectors of Brazilian revolvers and vintage small-frame revolver enthusiasts.
