Description

The SK Long Range Match is engineered specifically for the demanding precision requirements of competitive rimfire disciplines, including PRS Rimfire, tactical rimfire, and long-range silhouette competitions. Developed at the SK facility in Schönebeck, Saxony-Anhalt — part of the Nammo group and sharing a heritage with Lapua — this ammunition reflects decades of Scandinavian-German precision manufacturing applied to the .22 LR format.

Loaded with a 40 gr (2.59 g) Lead Round Nose projectile, the Long Range Match achieves a muzzle velocity of 1,099 fps (335 m/s) from a 26-inch (660 mm) test barrel, delivering 107 ft-lbs of muzzle energy. At 100 yards the projectile retains 963 fps and 82 ft-lbs — consistently within the supersonic band for standard competition distances. This predictable ballistic arc makes it a natural choice for extended rimfire courses where wind-reading and holdover consistency are critical.

Each round is produced under tightly controlled lot standards to ensure consistent powder charge, primer sensitivity, and bullet seating depth — the key variables that determine shot-to-shot velocity deviation and, ultimately, group dispersion at distance. The Long Range Match is approved for semi-automatic rifles and bolt-action precision platforms alike, making it a versatile match-day and training load for serious rimfire competitors.
