Marocchi VERO 12 Gauge Semi-Auto Shotgun

The Marocchi VERO is a 12 gauge inertia-operated semi-automatic shotgun that distinguishes itself through its traditional stepped receiver profile — a design characteristic that certain shooters specifically seek for its classic Italian field gun aesthetic and the natural sighting line it creates. While most modern semi-automatic receivers use a straight profile, the VERO's stepped design reflects the traditional Italian shotgun geometry preferred by hunters who have shot classic European field guns throughout their careers.

The receiver is machined from high-strength 7075 T6 aluminium alloy — the same aerospace-grade material used in the Marocchi I-First — and finished with a Cerakote coating that provides superior corrosion resistance and durability compared to standard anodising or bluing. The sandblasted anti-reflective matte surface minimises glare in field conditions. The inertia cycling system delivers the mechanical simplicity and low-maintenance characteristics that make inertia shotguns particularly practical for field use in dusty, wet, or demanding environments.

The VERO is available with a synthetic stock in either black or Shadow Grass Blades camouflage — the latter making it one of the camo-stock options in this collection. Barrel lengths of 66cm, 71cm, and 76cm (660mm, 710mm, 760mm) are offered, covering standard sporting and hunting configurations. The VERO sits at the entry-level of the Marocchi inertia semi-auto range alongside the I-First, differentiated by its distinctive stepped receiver styling and Cerakote finish.
