The HS Produkt HS-9 3.0 G2 is manufactured by HS Produkt (formerly HS 2000) in Karlovac, Croatia — one of Eastern Europe's most accomplished small arms manufacturers with a production history dating to the Croatian War of Independence in the early 1990s. The HS-9 design became the basis for the Springfield Armory XD series sold across the United States, making this one of the few pistols in this collection whose design DNA is more recognisable under a different brand name than its own.
