CZ Shadow 2 Gold 9mm Pistol

The CZ Shadow 2 Gold is a limited-edition competition pistol produced in only 800 units worldwide, applying the championship-proven Shadow 2 architecture with a set of purposeful premium enhancements that go beyond aesthetics.The most consequential change from the standard Shadow 2 is the choice of grip material: gold-anodized brass instead of aluminium. Brass is approximately three times denser than aluminium, adding roughly 200 grams to the total weight — bringing the Gold to approximately 1,500 grams unloaded. This intentional mass increase dampens perceived recoil and reduces muzzle flip during rapid-fire strings, contributing directly to faster split times and tighter groups in competition. The brass magazine basepad matches the grip colour and adds further weight at the front of the frame for optimal balance.The trigger receives a gold-coloured titanium nitride finish, a durable decorative treatment that also marginally reduces friction. The slide is pre-cut for CZ's optics plate system, enabling red dot mounting for USPSA Carry Optics division without additional machining. Sights are a fibre-optic front with a micrometrically adjustable HAJO rear — click-adjustable for both elevation and windage. Capacity is 19+1, one round more than the standard 17+1 Shadow 2, using extended magazines.The steel frame and slide wear Black Polycoat and nitride finishes respectively. The frame carries 'Special Edition' engraving, and the pistol ships in a hard case with two magazines. The Gold occupies a position above the Orange in the Shadow 2 hierarchy — the Orange is premium, the Gold is a numbered collector's competition piece.
