The CZ P-07 Kadet is the official rimfire training companion to the CZ P-07 service pistol — a purpose-designed .22 LR version that replicates the P-07's handling, ergonomics, and trigger feel while dramatically reducing ammunition cost and recoil. The Kadet is engineered for structured practice and recreational use: everything about its operation directly transfers to the full-calibre P-07, making it one of the most effective training tools in CZ's product line.The core architecture faithfully replicates the 9mm P-07. The fiber-reinforced polymer frame, interchangeable backstraps (M and L), ambidextrous controls, Omega trigger mechanism, and reversible magazine release all function identically. The Omega trigger system retains its field-configurable capability — switchable between decocker and manual safety operation without tools — ensuring muscle memory developed on the Kadet translates directly to whichever P-07 configuration the shooter carries.The .22 LR adaptation introduces a fixed blowback barrel (replacing the locked-breech barrel of the 9mm), a lightweight alloy slide cycling at lower recoil impulse, and two recoil springs matched to different ammunition velocities: the red spring for high-velocity standard loads, and the blue spring for subsonic ammunition. Two 10-round polymer magazines and two interchangeable backstraps are included as standard. The adjustable rear sight is drawn from the CZ Shadow 2 competition platform. An ideal complement to any P-07 in service, or a standalone affordable-to-run plinking and training pistol. Made in the Czech Republic.
