The Baikal MP-155 is Russia's current generation semi-automatic shotgun from the Kalashnikov Concern, representing a significant advancement from the long-serving MP-153. The MP-155 introduced a more reliable self-regulating gas system that automatically adjusts operation across a wide range of 12-gauge load pressures — from light 28-gram target loads through full-power 36-gram hunting shells — without manual gas port adjustment.The self-regulating piston system minimises felt recoil by managing the gas impulse, and the inertia-assisted bolt cycling ensures reliable function even with low-pressure ammunition. The ventilated barrel rib improves pointability and heat dissipation during extended shooting sessions. Three interchangeable mobile chokes (IC, M, F) allow field customisation for different quarry and distances. The 3-inch (76mm) chamber accepts both 2¾-inch and 3-inch shells, maximising ammunition flexibility.Finished in matte black with synthetic furniture, the MP-155 is built for field durability without premium material pricing.
