The ATA Arms ETRO is a 12 gauge pump-action shotgun configured from the factory for tactical and defensive use — featuring a compact 18.5-inch barrel, fixed pistol-grip stock, and ghost-ring sights that prioritise close-quarters effectiveness over field hunting versatility. This is the only dedicated defensive pump-action shotgun in this collection, and the most affordable shotgun overall.

The 18.5-inch barrel (470mm) is the minimum legal length that delivers practical shot patterns while keeping overall length short enough for manoeuvring in confined spaces. The fixed pistol-grip synthetic stock provides a secure, ergonomic hold during rapid pump cycling and offers a lower-profile carry option compared to traditional stock configurations. The ghost-ring or adjustable rear sight paired with a front post provides fast, instinctive target acquisition under stress without the complexity of optical systems.

The pump-action mechanism operates independently of ammunition characteristics — unlike semi-automatic actions, the pump functions reliably with everything from reduced-recoil defensive loads to full-power buckshot and slugs without adjustment.
