The Taurus 1911 Commander is Brazil's take on one of the most enduring pistol designs in history — the Commander-size 1911 that John Browning's original Government Model became when shortened for carry use in 1950. Manufactured by Taurus Armas in Porto Alegre, the Commander brings the full 1911 experience to the 9mm Luger chambering: single-action trigger, grip safety, thumb safety, and classic controls in a 4.25-inch barrel package with a matte black finish optimised for hard use and field carry.
