The Glock G26 Gen5 MOS is the optics-ready variant of the original "Baby Glock" — Glock's sub-compact 9mm introduced in 1995 and continuously refined across five generations. The MOS slide cut enables direct mounting of mini red-dot sights for faster defensive target acquisition without requiring aftermarket machining, bringing the sub-compact platform fully in line with the optics capabilities of the larger Glock variants.

With an 87mm barrel and a 10-round flush-fit magazine, the G26 MOS achieves a genuinely concealable profile while retaining one of the most practically useful features in the entire Glock system: full magazine compatibility with every other Glock 9mm in this collection. The G26 MOS accepts the G19's 15-round and G17's 17-round magazines directly, allowing the same pistol to serve as a concealed carry option with a flush 10-round magazine and a home defence or range option with 17-round magazines — without purchasing a separate pistol.

Gen5 improvements are fully present: the GLOCK Marksman Barrel, removal of finger grooves, ambidextrous slide stop levers, nDLC finish, and front slide serrations. The G26 MOS is identically priced to the G19 Gen5 Standard — making the sub-compact MOS format directly cost-comparable to a full-size standard configuration.
