The CZ Shadow 2 SA is the single-action-only evolution of the world-champion Shadow 2 platform — transforming the DA/SA competition pistol into a pure SAO (Single-Action Only) trigger system that delivers the shortest reset, lightest pull weight, and most consistent trigger feel of any Shadow 2 variant. The SA designation is not a minor adjustment: the entire hammer and trigger group is replaced with a dedicated single-action mechanism, making the Shadow 2 SA mechanically analogous to the CZ TS 2 and CZ 75 TS Czechmate in terms of trigger character while retaining the Shadow 2's heavier aluminium frame and proven competition geometry.

For IPSC and practical shooting competitors, the SAO trigger provides the fastest split times and most predictable break of any Shadow 2 configuration. Every pull is identical — there is no heavier DA first shot, no transition between pull weights, and no reset variance between rounds. This consistency is particularly valuable during high-pressure competition strings where trigger management must become fully automatic.
