CZ Shadow 2 OR 9mm Pistol

The CZ Shadow 2 OR (Optics Ready) brings the world's most successful IPSC Production pistol into the era of integrated red-dot competition — adding a factory-milled optics cut directly to the Shadow 2 slide without altering any of the mechanical characteristics that have made the Shadow 2 the benchmark competition DA/SA pistol. The OR designation is precise: the slide receives a standardised optics mounting footprint compatible with major competition red-dot sights, enabling direct mounting without aftermarket machining that could compromise the slide's structural integrity or void the warranty.

The DA/SA trigger system — competition-tuned with a shorter reset and lighter pull weights than the standard CZ 75 B — is fully retained in the OR configuration. The heavier aluminium alloy frame, under-barrel weight rails, extended beavertail, and 125mm cold-hammer-forged barrel are unchanged. Competitors who have trained on the Shadow 2's DA/SA system and want to add optics capability without switching to a new platform will find the OR a seamless upgrade path — same manual of arms, same frame feel, same sight radius, now with a red-dot mounted directly on the slide.

The Shadow 2 OR competes in IPSC Open division when fitted with a red-dot, and remains Production-legal when the optics cut is covered with the included cover plate and iron sights are used — giving the OR the flexibility to compete across multiple divisions with a single pistol.
