The Caracal F1 is the full-size service configuration of the Caracal platform, chambered in 9×19mm and rated at 18+1 capacity. Serving as the primary service pistol of the UAE Armed Forces and various Middle Eastern and North African military and law enforcement agencies, the F1 has proven itself across demanding operational environments.The full-size F1 extends the compact C1's advantages — ultra-low bore axis at 18mm, consistent short double-action striker trigger, triple internal safety system — into a larger platform providing a longer sight radius for improved precision and an 18-round double-stack magazine for extended operational capacity. The 104mm cold-hammer-forged barrel sits lower in the hand than virtually any comparable service pistol, reducing muzzle flip and enabling rapid accurate fire strings.Designed by Wilhelm Bubits — whose previous credits include the Glock and Steyr M series — the Caracal F1's design philosophy prioritises minimising parts count (fewer than 30 components), maximising reliability across ammunition types, and enabling intuitive ambidextrous operation. The integral Picatinny rail below the barrel accepts lights and lasers without modification. Validated to NATO D14 standard and evaluated by German Federal Armed Forces Technical Centre (WTD 91).
