Prvi Partizan PPU 9mm Luger 147gr Total Metal Jacket is the subsonic-weight entry in the PPU 9mm range — the 147 grain TMJ loading that sits at or just below the speed of sound at standard atmospheric conditions, making it the natural choice for suppressed shooting where eliminating the supersonic crack is the objective. The heavier 147 grain bullet operates at approximately 950–990 fps compared to the 1100–1235 fps of standard 115–124 grain loadings, keeping it subsonic through most barrel lengths without dedicated subsonic ammunition.

The Total Metal Jacket construction fully encases the lead core — including the base — unlike standard FMJ which leaves the base exposed. This complete encapsulation eliminates airborne lead particulate from the base during firing, making TMJ the preferred construction for indoor ranges where lead exposure limits are strictly managed and for shooters who want to minimise lead exposure during sustained training sessions.
