Redding Imperial Dry Neck Lube Convenience Pak

The Redding Imperial Dry Neck Lube Convenience Pak combines both components of the popular Imperial Dry Neck Lubrication system into a single, ready-to-use package: pre-charged application media and a supply of dry lubricant for recharging, both stored together in a compact clear plastic tube.  Imperial Dry Neck Lube addresses one of the most commonly overlooked stress points in handloading — the friction imparted to cartridge case necks during the sizing process. Every pass through a sizing die burnishes the inside and outside surfaces of the case neck. Over repeated reloadings, this burnishing accelerates work hardening of the brass, shortening the useful life of the case. A quality dry neck lubricant significantly reduces this friction, extending case life and reducing the risk of case neck failure during sizing.  The application method is simple and efficient: dip the case neck directly into the pre-charged media. The media simultaneously coats the interior and exterior of the neck in a single motion — no separate inside-neck brush step required. The proprietary dry blend formula leaves no oily or liquid residue that could contaminate powder or affect primer sensitivity. The media remains serviceable indefinitely, requiring rechargings with the included lubricant approximately every 400–500 cases.  Particularly recommended for use with Redding Type-S Bushing-style sizing dies, where precise neck tension management is critical. Compatible with all calibres and suitable for use with both standard and bushing-style sizing dies from any manufacturer. An essential addition to any serious handloading bench.
